I knew it was going to happen...
There I was playing my Xbox 360 on a newly purchased copy of Halo 3 and then suddenly the screen frezzes!
After tapping the buttons on the controller like a mad woman for a good minute or two switched the Xbox off and then switched it back on...
WHAM!
The dreaded three red lights were there to greet me!
I then switched the xbox back off, took a deep breath and tried to calm down, I then switched the Xbox back on and the green lights spun round as normal quickly replaced by the 3 red lights of death.
Now I Was Mad!
I know you can send the Xbox back to Microsoft for free but you will also have to wait for up to 4 weeks for a replacement.
So I decided to do a search on Google for "Xbox 360 Repair", to see if there was anything that could help me.
The first thing I was surprised about is how wide spread the problem was and there is page after page of people looking for Xbox 360 Repair with all manner of problems.
Amongst all the pages I managed to find a website claiming to fix the 3 red lights problem in under an hour using household items and all you need to do is follow the picture guide.
At first I clicked off the site thinking "What A SCAM!"
Although after searching around for an hour I found myself back at the site as there was a full money back guarantee.
I thought I might as well give it a go as I had just bought a copy of Halo 3 after all!
So I purchased the guide and said a quick prayer!
The guide comes in downloadable format and also gives you all the tools you need to read it on your PC for free!
The guide itself and the instructions was easy to follow and although it said it should take me under an hour to do the fix, it took me more like an hour and a half.
Still after completing the so called "fix" I left the xbox for 20mins like it said in the guide and was getting info about the refund as I was quite sure that would need one!
20 minutes passed and I went back to the xbox and switched it on...
The green lights spun around and I waited for the 3 red lights but to my amazement the dashboard loaded up!
I was over the moon!
I decided to load up Halo 3 and try to overload the Xbox to make sure that the fix did work!
I opened up the dashboard while playing, played music, swapped tracks about and all the while it was running fine!
I completed the fix 2 days ago and have been putting in a ton of hours on Halo 3 and not had one freeze or problem since!
If you are suffering with the same problem then I would suggest getting your hands on this Xbox 360 Repair guide and getting back to your games in under an hour from now!
